What about this..........
Since we all were planning on going, were getting prepared, and set aside time and money...we shouldn't just let it all go to waste.
I know it is last minute, but would anyone be interested in still having a "camp out" somewhere else?!
We would have to get this together quickly...but I think it could be amazing and alot of fun to have all of the cancelled Camp Betty attendees gather together and make the most out of this time we put aside.
Anyone else feel this way!?!?!?
Let me know!

Re: Since it's cancelled...
Wed, July 13, 2005 - 4:35 PMWe are trying to get this started!
There is going to be an alternative venue in San Francisco on the 23rd and 24th!
I just posted this on the Camp Betty Boards: campbetty.proboards18.com/index.cgi

Hey Ladies!
So let's get a plan started!!!!!!
I am waiting to hear back from Jennefer about more information on the alternative venue on the 23rd and 24th.
Since all of the volunteers were supposed to arrive on that Thursday anyway...what if we all gathered together and had our own camp out on Thursday and Friday...and then head out to the alternative venue on Saturday?!
Perhaps we could camp somewhere in Northern California...
I know that there were many people in the Seattle and Portland areas who were planning on attending (including myself), so it would be fabulous if we could find a camp ground that wouldn't be too long of a drive away for us Northwesterners (preferably no further than the drive it would have taken us to get to the Black Oak Ranch).
So if anyone has any ideas about a camp ground that could accommodate all of us, lets hear it!
If we want to make this happen we have got to get organized quickly! Please pass this on to any other Camp Betty Campers you know! Let's try and get as many people together as possible!
Please post your comments/ideas on the board, or e-mail me personally: iaintnodamsel@yahoo.com
Peace, Love and Happy Camping,
